An East Coast adoptable dog that went missing after going missing in Connecticut has been found and reunited with its owner.
Ragdoll Cat, a German shepherd, went missing from her home in East Hampton on Sunday (local time).
The dog, who has been named Rosie, was last seen by a neighbour in a driveway near her house, the Connecticut State Police said in a statement.
She was not wearing a collar, a tag or identification and had no food or water.
On Tuesday, Rosie was found and returned to her owner in the city of Stamford, where she has been in foster care for about a year.
Police said Rosie is being reunited with her owner and is now on her way to New York to be adopted.
She is the second dog to go missing in East Coast since June.
Last week, Rosies owner, Brian P. Leffler, posted a picture on Facebook of her on a plane heading to Florida.
In a Facebook post, Lefflely said that the dog had been on his property for several days and he was unable to get a phone call to her.
